1. What NoticeSent does

NoticeSent generates statutory notice documents from information you provide and dispatches them by USPS Certified Mail to the recipients you confirm. We archive the generated document, mailing records, and tracking information on a private page for your records.

2. Not a law firm

NoticeSent is a document preparation and mailing service. We are not a law firm, we are not your attorney, and nothing on this site or in a generated document is legal advice. Statutes are cited so you and your attorney can verify everything. We make no guarantee about the legal effect or outcome of any notice.

3. Your information

Deadlines, names, and addresses come from you, and you confirm the recipient list before paying. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide; the notice is generated from it verbatim.

4. Refunds

Full refund on request any time before your notice is dispatched to USPS. Once certified mail is dispatched, real postal costs have been incurred and the order cannot be refunded.

5. Returned, refused and lost mail

We are responsible for the document, the dispatch, the USPS Certified Mail tracking record and your archive. If any of those fail on our side — a document error, a piece we did not dispatch, a tracking number we did not record — we fix it at no charge, and refund the order if we cannot.

The recipient's address is yours (section 3). If USPS returns a piece as undeliverable, refused or unclaimed, your archive keeps the return record and you can re-send that notice, to a corrected address or the same one, for $19 flat — mailed certified with fresh tracking. One $19 re-send per account; further re-sends are a new order at the regular price.

USPS transit is USPS's. If a piece shows neither a delivery nor a return scan for ten business days after USPS acceptance, the same $19 re-send is available on request at support@noticesent.com. Postage already spent is not refunded.

Under some statutes a notice sent by certified mail within the statutory window is effective when mailed, and a piece that comes back refused, unclaimed or not forwardable can still count; a piece returned for a bad address is a different case. Whether any of that applies to your notice is a question for your attorney, which is why the archive keeps the certified article number and the USPS acceptance record. Status, tracking, the archive and the statute citations are always free.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NoticeSent's total liability for any claim arising out of an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
