About
A notice service that shows its work
NoticeSent generates statutory construction notices, mails them by USPS Certified Mail to every recipient the statute names, and keeps the evidence on a permanent archive page. It is built and run by MeltingPixels LLC, an independent software studio in Greenwood, Indiana, founded by Jeremy Harvey.
Why it exists
Lien notices have hard statutory clocks and unforgiving recipient lists, and the people who must send them are subcontractors and suppliers with a job to run. The established services charge a preparation fee plus postage per recipient, and the do-it-yourself path leaves the mailing evidence to chance. NoticeSent charges one flat price that includes every required recipient, and treats the proof of mailing as part of the product rather than an afterthought.
How the documents are built
- — The statute is the source. The text of every notice statute the service covers is pinned from the official legislative site (leg.state.fl.us, leginfo.legislature.ca.gov and the others listed in the footer) and re-read when it changes. Prescribed forms are printed verbatim, and the citations are printed on the document itself.
- — You verify the recipients. The wizard asks for the names and addresses of the parties the statute names for your role, and mails what you verify. NoticeSent does not look up property owners or guess at addresses.
- — Deadlines are computed, not estimated. The calculator and the wizard apply the counting rules in the statute, including the mail-by dates where a statute makes service effective on mailing.
How the mail is proven
Each piece goes by USPS Certified Mail through a USPS-integrated mailing provider. The tracking number is recorded the moment the piece is submitted, delivery status is polled and logged, and the document, the tracking and a timestamped record of each step live on an archive page you can return to. Where a statute names certified mail with return receipt requested, the electronic return receipt is included; where a statute names regular mail, the notice mails both ways. A piece that comes back undeliverable triggers an email and a corrected resend offer.
What NoticeSent is not
NoticeSent is a document preparation and mailing service. It is not a law firm, it does not give legal advice, and it does not decide whether a notice is required or whether lien rights exist in your situation. The guides on this site explain what the statutes say, in plain language, and link to the official text. For your project, consult an attorney.
